Initial Enrollment Period ( IEP) – Is your first chance to enroll in Medicare. IEP is 7 Months long. Includes your birthday month or the 25th month of getting disability benefits plus the 3 months before and 3 months after.

 Annual Enrollment  Period (AEP )  -  October 15 – December 7) – You may make changes at this time.  Changes go into effect January 1st.

 Special Enrollment Periods  ( SEP) -  This period is  for a qualifying Life Event. Example include moving your primary residence or leaving an employer plan.  Visit www.Medicare.gov  for a complete list of qualifying event.
